I don’t know about you but I LOVE giving people gifts and uplifting their spirits! For many of us 2020 was a challenging and sometimes turbulent year where social distancing became a way of life. As an empath and avid hugger, this was a particularly hard year for me not being able to have open access to the people I love. Thinking about their safety, as well as my own, I embarked on a quest to spread happiness and joy from a distance by creating customized gift baskets for those I knew and loved, and, moreover, knew needed a little pick me up!

 

The first basket created was the Escape which contained items that transported the senses of my friends and family to another place outside of their own four walls. I have now created 9 themed baskets and I custom design and fill with almost whatever it is that  you can imagine!

Then in the Spring of 2021 it was time to expand! I needed to create a space where my baskets could be showcased, and I wanted to expand my offerings to include a small but unique gift shop and shopping experience. So, in March of 2021 the Showroom North opened in beautiful Homer NY in the historic Fountain House which nestled next door to, and is a part of the Center for the Arts. The Showroom & Shopping Parlor, as I affectionately call it, is a boutique style shopping experience that provides for both walk in shopping opportunities but is famously known for our private showroom shopping sessions where we roll out the red carpet and treat you like you are one of the family! In the Spring of 2022, Just Chill Custom Gifting By Carol LLC moved to an even bigger and more magical location at 4 Main St. Cortland, NY 13045 reopening March 15th, 2022 with expanded hours and a new schedule for private shopping sessions.
